How to Fix NTLDR is Missing in Windows XP

Step 1:

  • FirsT Insert Windows XP Cd into CD/DVD ROM drive
  •  **Make sure that BIOS priority is set to boot to CD/DVD ROM drive**
    Press Any key now
  • Now if it is Prompt for Press Any Key then Press any Key From keyboard like C
  • Now You Will see Two Options in Menu
  • => Select To Second Option By Just Pressing ” R ”  from Keyboard
    Xp Setup Menu
Step 2:

  • Now You are in Recovery Console
    Recovery Console Xp
  • You Will See  1: C:Windows
  • Press 1 and Enter password (If in Case you don’t have any Password to Your Windows Then Simply Press Enter Key)
  • Press Enter Key
Enter 1 then Enter Password
Step 3 :
  • Now Follow this
  • Type This Command
  • Copy Your CD Drive C:
  • Note:
  • For Eg: Mine is F: Replace Your CD Drive Letter: To your CD drive Letter.

Command is like type those both command into it.

  • Copy F:i386ntldr C:
  • and Press Enter Key
  • Copy C:
  • and Press Enter Key
Commads for Fixing NTLDR

To Checks Its Copied or Not, Now Type

  • DIR C:
  • This Command will Shows all Files present in that C driver

Now Done you will see that both files is now copied

  • Now Type :
  • Exit
  • and Press Enter Key

Done Its Fixed
